Established in 1989, Acme Scenery Co. resides in a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Brisbane, California. Truly a full service scene shop, our state of the art wood, metal and paint shops offer the very finest in quality craftsmanship in all areas of the scenic arts. Our award winning designers and our staff of carpenters, welders and painters can create anything from an animatronic chorus line to hell frozen over!
Our work has ranged from feature films and television commercials to museum and retail display. “Animal Eyes,” a touring children’s exhibit which we fabricated for San Francisco’s Museum of Ophthalmology, won first place in the 1999 American Association of Museums (AAM) Exhibition Competition.
