A friend of ours used to tell us, “don’t talk about it, be about it.” Something much easier to say than it is to live by. That’s most things though, isn’t it? It is much easier to perceive ourselves one way–to recite a mantra until we think it’s true.
Cause of a Kind started as a small idea, to build an e-store that made a difference. Then we had a crazier idea, what if we could sell products for ninety days, made specifically to raise money for different causes?
The evolution continued and it became a publication. One that features amazing people, pursuing amazing goals, who have a focus on reducing their own environmental impact while sharing their stories and effort to influence change. We named it; Take Back Tomorrow. We started to work with the most interesting people on earth and strive to share their stories —- stories of humanity and its coexistence with the environment.
Today, we take our skills and expertise and that of everyone we’ve worked with for over 20 years combined, to offer our services to the business, entrepreneurs, and innovators on the front lines with a small army of professionals on our staff to tackle the most complex business problems and resolve with custom software solutions. Those fighting the battles that will determine what our generation is made of and what world we are going to leave behind. One thing we have learned is that this battle is too often lost to the competition for the loudest voice — and too often is that voice, not the one that needs to be heard. We focus on partnering with organizations that have roots in environmental and social good. Our partners and our future partners use business to drive impact to their communities.
