Digital Marketing Lab was created by Julie Chartrou Wood in December 2017 in the suburb of Portland Oregon, in the city of Vancouver, WA. The business was developed with the help of the Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP) of the GVCC. During the first few months of the launch of the business, Julie spent a lot of time coaching small business owners on the use of digital marketing for their businesses, spoken at conferences and attended a lot of events to share her knowledge.
In July 2018, Digital Marketing Lab fully launched, implementing SEO, social media marketing, and web design to the services offered to business owners. Daniel Winiger also joined the team that summer, adding a strong SEO expertise to the business and making Digital Marketing Lab a strong contender to all the local SEO agencies already existing in the Pacific Northwest.
During the first year of existence, Digital Marketing Lab had great results in Search Engine Optimization for clients who were in very competitive markets. The type of businesses we worked with were architects, life coaches, non profit organizations, among others, located in the Portland OR area.
In July 2019, Digital Marketing Lab extended its market and moved part of its office to the Tennessee Tri-Cities area, in Kingsport, TN. We now help businesses located in the Johnson City, TN area with their digital marketing needs, and allow them to get more exposure.
